University graduation celebrations

There are many additional obstacles for young people in AANES. These student’s diplomas are not recognized Internationally making it difficult for them to study abroad. Northern Iraq, the KRG (Kurdish Regional Governate), is aggressively expelling Syrians and those who stay work in Slavery conditions.

There is also little Production Industry in Rojava. 70% is Wheat farming. Cars, electronics, mechanics, computers are all imported, much from Korea and through Dubai hub, and few factories, machinery, experienced engineers or companies exist to allow them to practice the creative knowledge they have learnt.

However, the Universities include subjects like Society Knowledge, Science (and historical social struggle) of Woman, Socio-History and so on. These subjects do not exist in the Modernist world and indeed, would not even be understood conceptually.

Also, a small, but hardworking and hopeful Software industry is beginning. Most of the graduates in the pictures below are already working with Rojava’s newest and biggest Software company.
